Abstract:

PURPOSE: To inexpensively obtain an ink jet recording head having a high printing speed by mounting one electricity/pressure conversion element per one bit and independently controlling respective bits.

CONSTITUTION: An ink charging electrode 4 charging an ink part having an ink meniscus 3 formed thereto and an external bias electrode 5 arranged in an ink blowoff direction are provided. In the recording mechanism of an ink recording head, the ink meniscus 3 is formed to the ink blowoff orifice of an ink cavity 2 and the ink part having the ink meniscus formed thereto is subsequently charged by the ink charging electrode 4 arranged in the vicinity of the ink blowoff orifice and a high electric field is applied to the external bias electrode 5 arranged in the ink blowoff direction to inject ink outwardly.
