Title:
ELECTRIC FIELD DETECTING OPTICAL APPARATUS
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3839415
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric field detecting optical apparatus capable of realizing high sensitivity flexibly corresponding to the shape of a living body on which the apparatus is mounted.
SOLUTION: Laser light from a laser diode 21 is incident on a plurality of series connected electric field absorption elements 23 via a plurality of collimating lenses 33a, and is changed in its intensity by a coupled electric field. The laser light changed in its intensity by the electric field is converted to an electric signal through a photodiode 43. Further, a plurality of optical modulators 10a to 10n are connected thereamong through a flexible optical waveguide 20.
