To provide an electric and easy-to-handle fuel pump that supplies fuel to an engine of a maneuvered body of a radio-controlled model.
The electric fuel pump 1 for a model has a grip 3 on a lower face of a body 2, and has a trigger type lever 4 near the grip 3. The lever 4 operates the pump in both normal and reverse directions to supply and pump up fuel according to the direction of operation. The body 2 has at a tip end a pipe 6 with a nozzle 5 of fuel, and the pipe 6 communicates with a hose 7 led from a lower face of the grip 3 via the body 2. A tip end of the hose 7 is set in a storage can 8 of fuel when fuel is supplied or recovered. The grip 3 has a push button 10 of a lock mechanism 9 for mechanically closing the pipe 6 and, at the same time, holding a motor inoperative. An operation imitative of fuel supply to an actual machine increases interest as a hobby device, and practically largely increases the performance of the operation of supplying fuel to an engine of a maneuvered body.
