Abstract:
To provide an electric fusion joint capable of being easily connected to a fusion machine while reducing a time and effort.SOLUTION: In an electric fusion joint 1, a stopper portion 22 is disposed on an inner face 21 of a cylindrical portion 21 in a manner of projecting inward to restrict insertion positions of pipe ends 11a, 12a of resin pipes 11, 12 when the resin pipes 11, 12 are inserted into the inside of joint socket portions 23, 24. A heating wire 7 is disposed on the joint socket portions 23, 24 and the stopper portion 22 and coated with an insulator. On a connector mounting portion 6, a connector 83 of a fusion machine 8 energizing the heating wire 7, is mounted. The connector mounting portion 6 has a first terminal 61, a second terminal 62 and a storage wall 63. The first terminal 61 is connected to a first end 7e1 of both ends of the heating wire 7. The second terminal 62 is connected to a second end 7e2 at a side opposite to the first end 7e1 of the heating wire. The storage wall 63 stores the first terminal 61 and the second terminal 62, and projects outward from the cylindrical portion 21.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
