PURPOSE: To provide an electric fusion type branch connection which can be manufactured easily, hardly short-circuits, facilitates fusion execution, and is low in cost.

CONSTITUTION: A branch section 12 of a branch pipe is formed integrally in a saddle section 11 which has an inner face having almost the same curvature as that of an outer face of a synthetic resin pipe P. A branch saddle 1 in which terminals 14, 14 for connecting power supply are provided, a branch hole made of electric heating material in the shape of a flexible thin plate, and a current- carrying circuit for heating are formed by punching them out and made of a separate electric heating plate 2 on which terminals 23, 23 are provided. When the electric heating plate 2 is pressed and press-fitted by the branch saddle 1 on the outer face of the synthetic resin pipe P, the terminals 23, 23 contact terminals 14, 14 for connecting power supply.
