To provide uniform quality for grated foods which have been processed by preventing the food material grated from being mixed with the food material not yet grated when using a grater provided with grating edges different in roughness on the front and on the back.

The electric grating processor is provided with: a food material receiving part 18 having the open top and receiving the food material processed; a food material introducing part 68 with an approximately cylindrical shape that opens from the top toward the receiving part 18; the grater 58 capable of traveling in close proximity to a bottom opening 70 of the introducing part 68 from below; and a drive part for driving the grater 58 to travel by a motor 22. The grater 58 is provided with the large grating edge 94 provided on one side and having the high edge and the low grating edge 96 provided on the other side and having the low edge. The processor is provided with a gap adjusting part 98 rendering a gap between the front ends of the edges 94 and 96 and the bottom opening 70 of the introducing part 68 adjustable.
