To provide an electric heater surely preventing electric short circuiting between a connection terminal connected to a terminal part in an electrode plate and a pressing frame.
The electric heater 1 is provided with a heating body 2 made by laminating the plurality of number of holding tools 3 with a heating element buried, electrode plates 4, and fin members 5. Laminated frames 7 are laminated at both ends of the heating body 2 in a lamination direction H of the heating body 2, respectively, and the laminated state of the heating body 2 is kept in pressing through the laminated frames 7 by a pair of pressing frames 6 arranged at both ends of the heating body 2 in a crossing direction W. Terminal parts 42 for connecting connection terminals of the electric cable are kept formed at end parts of the electrode plates 4 in a direction of fluid circulation D. The holding tools 3 are provided with insulation ribs 33 for preventing the connecting terminals connected to the terminal parts 42 from coming in contact with a support main body part 61 between the terminal parts 42 and the support main body part 61 on the pressing frames 6.
