PURPOSE: To enable heating with less effects of an intake air flow on the front side of the main body, by providing a lower blow-off grille and a convection intake port at lower parts of a front face of the main body, a heater partition plate for separating a part not located directly above an intake port of a heat generating part but deviated to the front side, as a projected heat generating part, and a partition plate erected between the heater partition plate and a radiating grille.
CONSTITUTION: In a hot water heating operation, both a blowing part 4 and a heat generating part 6 are simultaneously energized. Room air is taken in through both an upper radiating grille 3 and a rear intake port 2 provided at a back face part, is heated to be hot air while flowing through the heat generating part 6, and the hot air is fed out through a lower blow-off grille 7 into a room. In addition, a convective heat flow is generated by a projected heat generating part 16, whereby heated air flows upward as the convective heat flow through an inner front space of a main body 1 separated by a partition plate 9, and is discharged as a heat flow from the front side of the radiating grille 3, accompanied by an inflow of room air through a convection intake port 8. Therefore, in the hot water heating operation, two types of heating can be simultaneously achieved, namely, heating by generation of the convective heat flow on the upper side and heating by the blow-off of hot air on the lower side.
