Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a rotation stopper member for stopping rotation of a driving shaft having rotary blades of an electric ice slicer machine from being damaged.SOLUTION: An electric ice slicer 10 comprises, in a base casing 11, a rotation stopping member 41 supported in such a way that it may be advanced or retracted between an engaging position where it is engaged with teeth of a gear 31a of a gear transmission mechanism 30 and a disengaged position where it is disengaged and engaged with the teeth of the gear 31a to stop rotation of a driving shaft 23; and a stopper 44 supported in such a way that it may be advanced or retracted between a restricting position where it restricts a motion of the rotation stopping member 41 from the disengaged position to the engaged position and a releasing position for allowing the motion. The stopper 44 is positioned at the restricting position when a lid body 16 covers the upper surface opening of an ice container 12, and the stopper 44 is positioned at the releasing position when the lid body 16 does not cover the upper surface opening of the ice container 12.
