PURPOSE: To obtain a flexible and flame retardant one by installing the second thermosetting resin layer containing a flame retarder and with a prescribed thickness on a synthetic-fiber cloth with a prescribed thickness and a thermosetting resin layer with a prescribed thickness installed thereon such that a total thickness becomes as prescribed.
CONSTITUTION: An electric insulation sheet or tape is made up of synthetic-fiber- make cloth whose substrate thickness is 0.25-0.35mm, and the first thermosetting resin layer of 10-100g/m2 installed thereon, and the second thermosetting resin layer of 100-400g/m2 installed on one or both sides thereof such that a total thickness of the sheet or tape is 0.3-0.5mm. Thereby, it is possible to obtain an electric insulation sheet or tape which is flexible and flame retardant and also has good electric characteristics.
