PURPOSE: To stably supply hot water even during boiling and after completion of boiling in an electric jar port in which a heater is disposed in a projected part formed on the bottom section of a hot water tank, and hot water in the tank, which is heated by the heater is fed by a motor driven pump, by specifying the height of the projected part.
CONSTITUTION: Water 2 in a hot water tank 1 is heated by a heater 9. Heat is rapidly radiated from the bottom section of the hot water tank 1 which is heated by the heater 9 through cooling fins 10 and the outer peripheral wall of a projected part 8a after the hot water 9 is boiled. Accordingly, the temperature of a part of a hot water discharge pipe 3 is restrained from being increased. Accordingly, the hot water in the tank 1 is sucked from the hot water discharge pipe 3 with boiling being suppressed, into a motor driven pump 4, and is then fed from a hot water feed port 6 by way of a hot water pipe 5. The height h1 of the projected part 8a is set to a value in a range of 5 to 10% of the diameter of the hot water tank 1 so as to given an excellent effect.
