Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent the leakage of a single machinery furnished with a commutator motor. SOLUTION: A barrier 17 is arranged between a motor housing 2 and a rear cover 4 applied on the back of it on this tool. The barrier 17 is constituted of a fixed part 18 sandwiched by an upper surface of a bearing case 16 and a rib 4a of an inner surface of the rear cover 4 in an assembly state, arms 19, 19 extensively provided symmetrically left and right from the fixed part 18 and covers 20, 20 formed on a head end of each of the arms 19 and to cover a side surface of a brush holder 12 and an installation edge of the brush holder 12 on the motor housing 2 with no contact from the back. Consequently, even when iron powder intrudes at the time of using a grinder 1, it is blocked by the cover parts 20, 20, and iron powder is never accumulated on the side surface of the brush holder 12.
