To provide an electric linear actuator equipped with a compact stopper structure with high reliability even in a strength aspect without increasing the number of parts of a stopper member or the like.
The electric linear actuator is equipped with an electric motor 3, a screw shaft 4 supported freely rotatably and unable to move in an axial direction with respect to a housing 2, a ball screw 7 comprising a nut 5 fit on the screw shaft 4 via a multiplicity of balls and unrotatably supported so as to freely move in an axial direction, a rod shaft 8 provided in parallel with the screw shaft 4 of the ball screw 7, and a connection member 9 connecting the rod shaft 8 and a support shaft 12 projecting to the nut 5. It is composed such that rotational motion of the electric motor 3 is converted into axial movement of the rod shaft 8 via the ball screw 7. It is composed to regulate actual movement of the nut 5 by providing a stopper part 13 in a nut side connection part of the connection member 9, and abutting the stopper part 13 on an inner wall of the housing 2.
