To provide an electric lock capable of being mechanically opened and closed by a key while also having an enhanced safety on securities.

The electric lock has at least two lock sections 1 in which electric opening and closing are enabled and mechanical opening and closing by the key are also enabled. The electric lock has a detecting means 14 detecting the state of the opening and closing of each lock section 1 and a control means 2 electrically locking the unlocked lock section 1 when the unlocking detecting output of another lock section is not input for a fixed time after the unlocking detecting output of either lock section 1 by the detecting means 14. The electric lock has the control means 2 electrically locking another lock section 1 under an unlocked state for the fixed time after the locking detecting output of either lock section 1 by the detecting means 14.
