This electric lock having at least two lock parts capable of being opened and closed electrically and being also opened and closed mechanically by a key and having a cylinder each is provided with a control means for locking and unlocking each lock part electrically. Each lock part is opened and closed by letting a dead bolt come in and out by rotation of the cylinder, is electrically opened and closed by rotating the cylinder by a driving part, and is mechanically opened and closed by rotating the cylinder by the key. The control means locks the unlocked lock part electrically if unlocking detection output to be outputted by rotation of the cylinder of the other lock part is not outputted within the predetermined period of time after the unlocking detection output to be outputted by rotation of the cylinder of any lock part is outputted.
