PURPOSE: To provide possibility of actuating an electric lock without external supply of the power by rotating the shaft of a rotary power generator from outside, accumulating the power in a capacitor, and using this power to operating a judging circuit and an electromagnetic actuator.
CONSTITUTION: When unlocking is to be made, first the shaft 2 of a rotary power generator 1 is rotated from outside for generation of electric power, and this power over a certain level is sent through a rectifier circuit 4 and accumulated in a capacitor 5. This is followed by entry of a pass code from dial, card, ten-key, etc., and the signaling contents are judged by a judging circuit 6. If the contents are acceptable, an unlocking signal is given, and an electromagnetic actuator 8 is operated through a drive circuit 7, and thus unlocking is made. Thereby external supply of the power is eliminated, and such problems as battery life, out of operation during standstill, etc. can be solved.
