PURPOSE: An electric mosquito repellent mat that is composed of integrated three layers, a air-permeating sheet, a dry mat consisting of pulp fiber and a fusing resin and another air-pemeating sheet, this showing high liquid retention in spite of low density and being produced simply.
CONSTITUTION: Three layers, among which two layers, the top and bottom, are air-permeating sheets such as tissue paper, nonwoven fabric, or glass fiber sheet of 10W20g/m2 basis weight and the middle layer is a dry mat consisting of 60W 95wt% pulp fiber and 40W5wt% fusing resin such as polyethylene or polypropylene, are piled up and pressed integrally under heating so that the appearance density becomes 0.15W0.3g/cm3 to give the objective mat.
EFFECT: Since the mat is low density, the insecticidal ingredient rapidly diffuses into the mat and the liquid retention of the mat is good. Thus, the impregnation of the mat with insecticidal ingredients is very simple.
