Abstract:
To provide an electric motor and the like capable of suppressing efficiency loss even when driven at low voltage and high-speed rotation.SOLUTION: An electric motor 2 includes: a rotor 10 with a shaft 13 and a commutator 14 mounted on the shaft 13; a brush 60 in contact with the commutator 14; a brush spring 80 for pressing the brush 60 against the commutator 14; and a conductive wire 91 connected to the brush 60. The brush 60 is a resinous brush containing copper, and the copper content in the brush 60 is between 30 wt.% and 50 wt.%.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
