Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for implementing both of suppression of total surge voltage at the time of being superposed and suppression of a switching loss, with respect to an electric motor control system including a plurality of power converters mutually connected.SOLUTION: An electric motor control system 2 comprises a plurality of power converters mutually connected (two converters 5a, 5b and three inverters 6a to 6c). A control circuit 8 makes switching speed of switching elements in the case where the number of power converters to be made to operate is large be slower than switching speed in the case where the number of power converters to be made to operate is small. Making switching speed of each switching element be slow in the case where many switching elements are operating suppresses total surge voltage at the time of being superposed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
