This electric motor-controlling device is provided with a power conversion system 3 consisting of a plurality of power conversion devices, actual observation equipment 2b, a command generation means 4, a first selection means 5, an actual control means 7, and a total adjustment means 6 for providing an initial actual gain and an initial first actual selection guide to the actual control means 7, then providing a first selection condition that is suited for the first selection means 5, operating the actual control means 7 within a predetermined time range, and providing at least one of an optimum gain and the optimum first actual selection guide for specifying the type of a power conversion device that is optimum for the power conversion system.
