Title:
ELECTRIC MOTOR DRIVEN REMOTELY CONTROLLED MIRROR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS58136536
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To set a device to small overall thickness and dimensions further easily adjusted turning resistance, by providing an expansive part of hollow spherical belt shape successively to a housing side and fitting said expansive part to a spherical seat.

CONSTITUTION: An expensive part 29 successively provided to a housing 19 is pressed to a spherical seat 25 with fixed force by urging force of a coil spring 33 and adapted to a spherical concaved surface 26 with stable force in no relation to tightening torque of a screw 35, then stable turning resistance is obtained. The position of a right end of the spring 33 is limited not to interfere with a mirror 18, but the left end is mounted by deeply fitting in the left side from the surface 26, and this spring 33, even if set to a required mounting length, causes no increase of overall thickness and dimensions of a mirror device. Further the part 29 is formed to a spherical belt shape, and the axial dimension of a pivot can be remarkably reduced.
