To provide an electric motor that is provided with a DC electromagnet at a stator side, feeds power to a rotor side in a non-contact manner, and can rotate a rotor.

The electric motor comprises the rotor 2 that rotates with a rotating shaft 21 as a center, and a stator 1 arranged around the rotor 2. The rotor 2 comprises a first coil 23 arranged on a peripheral surface, a second coil 25 arranged on the peripheral surface so as to be symmetrical with respect to the first coil 23 in terms of the rotating shaft and connected in series to the first coil 23, an electric circuit composed of rectifying circuits 26 to 28 that rectify induction currents flowing to the second coil 25 and the first coil 23, and a third coil 31 that is arranged on a rotating track of the first coil 23 and the second coil 25 so as to face the track and leads the induction currents to the first coil 23 or the second coil 25. The stator 1 comprises a fourth coil 12 that is arranged on the rotating track of the first coil 23 and the second coil 25 at its end so as to face the track.
