Abstract:
To provide an electric motor having an electrical connection structure capable of improving the reliability of the electrical connection between a conductive terminal and an electrical wire while improving the bond strength between the conductive terminal and the electrical wire.SOLUTION: The electrical connection structure in a disclosed electric motor 1 comprises: a commutator bar 31 (conductive terminal) including a groove 33; and a coil 22 (electrical wire) electrically connected to the commutator bar 31. The coil 22 is pushed into the groove 33 and includes a tapered plane widening the groove width from the opening toward the bottom 33c of the groove 33 on at least one of the two opposing side faces of the groove 33 in cross-section.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 5
