To provide a motor which can enhance the output without causing significant increase in the axial length of main components.
A plurality of rotor units 50A and 50B are provided in the axial direction. Each rotor unit 50A, 50B is constituted of an outer circumferential side rotor 5, having a planar outer circumferential side permanent magnet 9A arranged along the circumferential direction; an inner circumferential side rotor 9B arranged on the inner circumferential side of the outer circumferential side rotor 5 coaxially therewith, to rotate relatively and having a planar inner circumferential side permanent magnet 9B arranged along the circumferential direction; and a rotary mechanism portion 11 for altering the relative phase of the outer circumferential side rotor 5 and the inner circumferential side rotor 6 by rotating them relatively. At least the outer circumferential side rotors 5 and 5 of the rotor units 50A and 50B are mutually coupled, such that the permanent magnets become in-phase.
