To provide an electric parking brake device capable of easily determining the lifetime of a brake cable according to the difference in the service environment and the service situation.

The electric parking brake device 11 comprises a winding means for operating a brake 2 by winding a brake cable 10 by an electric driving mechanism 4 based on the stop of a vehicle, a detection means 21 for detecting the inclination of a vehicle body when the vehicle is stopped, and a control means 33 for increasing the braking force of the brake 2 by the winding means as the inclination of the vehicle body is increased when the vehicle is stopped, and the electric parking brake device further comprises a storage means 26 for storing the braking history based on the braking force of the brake 2 by the winding means and the operational frequency according to each braking force, and a determination means 27 for determining the lifetime of the brake cable 10 based on the braking history.
