Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the conventional problems that furniture must be placed in front by the size of an electric plug, thereby worsening use efficiency of a room space, when the electric plug is inserted into an electric outlet embedded on a wall face.
SOLUTION: An outlet main body 1 having a rectangular cross section and one or a plurality of plug insertion ports 7 on one face is rotatably held in parallel in a dust prevention box 5 by upper and lower rotary shafts 4 and is embedded in the wall face 10. The outlet body 1 wherein the electric plug 2 is inserted into the plug insertion port 7 is rotated using the rotary shafts as a support point to store the electric plug 2 in the wall face 10, thereby eliminating a projection in a room and widening the room space. A power supply cable 3 accompanied with the electric plug 2 enters a cable retaining groove 6 in a peripheral fringe part of the outlet body 1 and causes proper friction with the inside of the dust prevention box 5 to prevent reverse rotation of the outlet body 1.
