Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric point machine in which inversion after completion of rail shifting can be surely prevented in simple structure.
SOLUTION: An electric point machine is composed of a speed reduction gear mechanism 10 to transmit torque generated by a motor M through plural gears, a converting mechanism 20 to convert the transmitted torque into reciprocating linear motion of an action rod 22 or the like, and an inversion preventive mechanism 30 to slide in contact with the speed reduction gear mechanism 10. The inversion preventive mechanism 30 is fixed to a bracket at one end, and a brake shoe installed on the other end by resiliency of a torsion coil spring slides in contact with a friction coupling 12. Inversion generated after completion of rail shifting action can thus be reduced by friction between the brake shoe and the friction coupling 12.
