Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric pole cutting device and electric pole cutting method that enable an existing electric pole to be cut at a predetermined position when an obstacle or the like is present around an existing electric pole for cutting with a wire saw or when the existing electric pole is cut under soil.SOLUTION: A pair of right and left guide members disposed side by side in a vicinity of an existing electric pole is extendable along the side part of the existing electric pole. An endless wire saw wound around the outer periphery of the existing electric pole is put around a pulley provided at the upper end of each guide member to turn above each guide member and put around a drive pulley rotated by a drive motor provided between each guide member to rotationally drive the drive pulley, thereby making the wire saw run. The wire saw is pulled in a direction along the existing electric pole by stretching the guide member, so that the existing electric pole is pulled to be cut with the wire saw put around the existing electric pole.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
