PURPOSE: To downsize the body of the title pot, by a method wherein a protective resistance and a power source resistance are fastened by depressing onto a vessel, using fasteners for a heater and a safety device is fastened by depressing onto the vessel, using a pot rest.
CONSTITUTION: In the vicinity of a power source resistance 17, a safety device 10 is provided so as to be in close contact with the outer bottom surface of a vessel 1, and thus the safety device 10 is affected by heat from both a heater 13 and the power source resistance 17, in the baked state of the vessel. Therefore, the time that the safety device 10 is actuated can be shortened. Since temperature on the bottom surface of the vessel 1 is stable at 101°C when water is held in the vessel 1, the malfunction of the safty device 10 does not occur if the actuated temperature thereof is preset at 102°C or higher. By the structure wherein when the heater 3 is fastened, the protective resistance 16 and power source resistance 17 are simultaneously fastened by fasteners for the heater, assembling efficiency is improved and the title pot commercialized is downsized. In addition, since the protective resistance 16 and source resistance 17 are in close contact with the outer bottom surface of the vessel 1 and are fastened, the heat generated from both of these resistances 16, 17 is absorbed into the bottom of the vessel 1 and treatment against the heat generated therefrom is made unnecessary, and thus the pot can be also downsized.
