Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power assist unit and an electric power assist system, capable of providing assistance so that generated power of a natural energy generation system is stably supplied to a system.SOLUTION: An electric power assist unit 20 includes: a branch electric power line L22 connected with a trunk line L12 of a wind turbine generator system 10; a first battery bank 23 connected with the branch electric power line L22; an electric power assist DC-DC converter 24 connected with the branch electric power line L22; and a second battery bank 25 connected with the downstream side of the electric power assist DC-DC converter 24.
