An electric power conversion device includes two or more inverter circuits, a current detection circuit which detects output currents output from the two or more inverter circuits, and a control portion which controls the output currents of the two or more inverter circuits. The current detection circuit includes a current detection portion which detects the output currents of phases except one phase whose output current is not detected, and the control portion includes a current computation portion which computes an output current not detected by the current detection portion on the basis of the composite current of detected currents of the phases whose output currents are detected so that the composite current of the output currents of all the phases is zero.
