Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power conversion apparatus for boosting and converting DC voltage into AC voltage, which further reduces switching loss.SOLUTION: A switch control section controls a switch for first boosting based on a target AC voltage in a state that a switch for a first inverter is turned ON, a switch for a second inverter is turned OFF, a switch for a third inverter is turned OFF, and a switch for a fourth inverter is turned ON, in a first period that a magnitude of the target AC voltage is larger than that of a voltage to be input to a booster circuit, in a half period at a high potential side of the target AC voltage to be applied between a first output point and a second output point.
