PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology capable of improving traveling stability on a road surface which is changing, without deteriorating a steering feeling.SOLUTION: An electric power steering device includes: a standard rack axial force calculating portion 281 which calculates standard rack axial force Frm on the basis of a steering angle and vehicle speed; an actual rack axial force calculating portion 282 for calculating actual rack axial force Fra which is actual axis force generated on a rack shaft; a standard side low pass filter processing portion 283 for reducing components of a frequency higher than a cut-off frequency without attenuating components of a frequency lower than the cut-off frequency of the standard rack axial force Frm; an actual side low pass filter processing portion 284 for reducing the components of the frequency higher than the cut-off frequency without attenuating the components of the frequency lower than the cut-off frequency of the actual rack axial force Fra; and a rack axial force deviation current calculating portion 286 for calculating a rack axial force deviation current Ir on the basis of a deviation between the standard rack axial force Frm processed by the standard side low pass filter processing portion 283 and the actual rack axial force Fra processed by the actual side low pass filter processing portion 284.
