Abstract:
To provide an electric power steering system that gives a good steering feeling by generating an appropriate assisting force while driving on a terrible road.
When a vehicle velocity is equal to or higher than a predetermined vehicle velocity within a predetermined time, the number of times by which an absolute value of a motor rotation-angle acceleration becomes equal to or larger than a predetermined motor rotation-angle acceleration is equal to or larger than a predetermined number of times, and an integrated value of an absolute value of a steering torque becomes equal to or larger than a predetermined value within the predetermined time, an assisting force is increased.
