Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power storage system where a power storage section is made common even when power variation characteristics at an input side are different from those at an output side.SOLUTION: A plant monitoring device comprises: a first converter; an energy storage section; a power generation section; a power storage section; a second converter; and a third converter. The first converter is connected between an external power system and the device and converts power. The energy storage section stores energy by using input power input from output sections of the first converter and a renewable energy power generation section. The power generation section outputs output power generated to a load section connected with the external power system. The power storage section has a control response faster than a control response of the energy storage section with respect to the input power and a control response of the power generation section with respect to the load section. The second converter is connected between the power storage section and the energy storage section and converts the power. The third converter is connected between the power storage section and the power generation section and converts the power.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
