Abstract:
A plant monitoring device according to the present embodiment is equipped with a first converter, an energy storage unit, a power generation unit, a power storage unit, a second converter, and a third converter. The first converter is connected to an external power system, and converts power. The energy storage unit uses input power from the first converter and from an output unit of a renewable energy power generation unit to store energy. The power generation unit outputs generated output power to a load unit to which the external power system is connected. The power storage unit has a faster control response than the control response of the energy storage unit with respect to input power and the control response of the power generation unit with respect to the load unit. The second converter is connected between the power storage unit and the energy storage unit, and converts power. The third converter is connected between the power storage unit and the power generation unit, and converts power.
