PURPOSE: To set output voltage of an electric power converting part almost constant, and make an electric power supply usable even for different voltages by forming constitution to turn on and off a semiconductor switch element so that output voltage of the electric power converting part becomes constant.
CONSTITUTION: A first electric power converting part 3 unidirectionally receives voltage, and outputs unidirectional voltage having a constant effective value independent of input voltage by ON and OFF of a first semiconductor switch element 8. A second electric power converting part 4 composed of an inverter circuit receives unidirectional voltage outputted by the first electric power converting part 3, and generates high frequency AC electric power by operation of a resonance circuit 10 and a second semiconductor switch element 9, and transmits the high frequency AC electric power to a high voltage rectifier circuit 6 through a pressure raising transformer 5. The high voltage rectifier circuit 6 rectifies this high frequency AC electric power, and supplies high voltage DC electric power to a magnetron 7, and the magnetron 7 generates a microwave.
