Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric power tool allowing easy extraction of a rotary blade such as a saw blade even if the rotary blade bites into a material to be cut.SOLUTION: A control section 27 has a normal rotation and reverse rotation switchable state in which normal rotation and reverse rotation of a brushless motor 9 can be switched and a reverse rotation prohibition state in which reverse rotation of the brushless motor 9 is not allowed. When the control section 27 detects lock of the brushless motor 9, the control section 27 stops the brushless motor 9 and becomes the normal rotation and reverse rotation switchable state. When a main trigger switch 18 is turned on and the brushless motor 9 is reversely rotated in a reverse rotation mode, the control section 27 makes the brushless motor 9 perform an operation to reversely rotate for short time and stop or perform an operation to reversely rotate to an extent that a saw blade 8 rotates from half rotation to one rotation and stop, for instance.
