Abstract:

PURPOSE: To reduce the number of transmission lines and make a tail cord lightweight by uniting transmission passages that feed power to plural loads equipped at a car, conducting transmission by increasing the voltage of power to be transmitted more than the rated voltage of loads.

CONSTITUTION: Electric power from a three-phase AC power source 3 is received by means of a transmission device 4, and voltage is raised. After boosting, transmission to a car 2 is carried out only by means of a transmission line 27 in a tail cord 10. At the car 2, the voltage of power delivered through the transmission line 27 by means of the transformers 11-15 of receiving devices provided at respective devices and a power source device 17 is converted, and power is fed to respective devices such as a cooler outer cage machine 16, a door motor 22. Thus, transmission passages to the car from the control panel of a device whose power consumption is large, such as the cooler outer cage machine 16 can be united, and by conducting transmission under higher voltage than the rated voltage of a device, it is possible that loss at the transmission passage is made small. As a result, the reduction of the number of transmission lines and the light weight of the tail cord 10 can be realized.
