PURPOSE: To evenly and completely detach dust stuck on a dust collecting plate by oppositely equipping a washing medium blow nozzle that undergoes reciprocating movement from a dust collecting plate on one end part to that on the other end part and vice versa in order and for thoroughly jetting a washing medium from a vertical slit to plural dust collecting plates horizontally arranged holding resilient plates in between.
CONSTITUTION: Dust-contg. air passing through an inlet damper 1 is delivered to an electrifying electrode 2 for positively electrifying dust, and after the dust is electrified, the air is delivered to an dust collecting electrode unit 3. The dust collecting electrode unit 5 consists of flat plate-shaped dust collecting plates 4 and resilient plates 5 adjacent thereto. A jet medium passes through a conduit 9 and enters a washing medium blow nozzle 8 from a flexible tube 10, and is jetted parallel to both the sides of the dust collecting plates 4 arranged between the resilient plates 5, 5 from a slit 12 of a vertical jetting tower 11 in front. The nozzle 8 undergoes reciprocating movement in which it is moved from the dust collecting plate at one end part to that at the other end part and again from the other end part to one end part.
