To solve a problem wherein a press-fitting work becomes incomplete due to generation of a large quantity of bubbles in a hydraulic pump by reducing and transmitting rotational speed of an electric motor while a tool head press-fits a press-fitting object member.
In this electric press-fitting tool, the direct-acting type hydraulic pump 3 is driven by rotational force transmitted from the electric motor 1 via a shift mechanism 2, the hydraulic pump 3 is constituted to deliver oil in an oil tank 13 to a tool cylinder 14 via a check valve by a reciprocating motion of a plunger in a pump cylinder, and the press-fitting work is performed by press-fitting the press-fitting object member 6 by operating the tool head 4 via the tool cylinder 14 by hydraulic pressure of the hydraulic pump 3. The electric press-fitting tool includes a shift mechanism control means 9 for reducing the rotational speed by the shift mechanism 2 while the press-fitting object member 6 is press-fitted by the tool head 4.
