An electric pump includes a rotor 12 journaled by a housing 2 at a rotary shaft 15, a stator 13 positioned on an outer side in the radial direction of the rotor 12 and fixed to the housing 2, a pump unit 20 for sucking and discharging the fluid in response to a rotation of the rotor 12, and a can 14 positioned between the rotor 12 and the stator 13 for preventing the fluid in the pump unit 20 from flowing into the stator 13. The can 14 has conductivity. The stator 13 is grounded via the can 14.
