Title:
ELECTRIC RAZOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2740416
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of bad smell by a method wherein a housing chamber of an antibacterial agent comprising at least two kinds of sublimating solid substances is provided in a protective cover of a blade part and the inside of the housing chamber is made to communicate with a peripheral space of the blade part to suppress the breeding of microorganisms within an electric razor.
CONSTITUTION: In a blade part protective cover of an electric razor, an antibacterial agent housing chamber 2 is formed on an external wall surface of a blade part housing section 1 for housing a blade part A of the razor to house more than one kind of sublimating solid substances thereinto. A hole is formed into a wall 3 where the housing chamber 2 is provided piercing the blade part housing part 1 and stopped by a breathing material 4 so that a powdery antibacterial agent as indicated by the dot will not be lost. Sublimating vapor of the antibacterial agent moves (diffuses) into the blade housing section 1 passing through the breathing material 4 and is caused to adhere to beard dusts or the like. This suppresses the breeding of microorganisms thereby preventing the generation of bad smell.
