PURPOSE: To provide an electric razor with a simple structure in which a switch can be surely changed over the part cost and assembling cost are reduced to form an inexpensive mass producible structure, and the limit of arranging position of the switch is minimized to minimize the space occupied by the switch part.

CONSTITUTION: The electric razor has a switch handle 3 exposed to the outer part of a case. The switch knob 3 has a sliding contact 4, and a printed board 7 built in the case 1 has a fixed contact 6. The switch knob 3 is elastically pressed to the surface of the printed board 7 and installed thereto in such a manner as to be capable of sliding, and the printed board 7 has moderating holes 8 on the sliding track of the switch knob 3. The switch knob 3 has a moderating protruding part 2 moved between the moderating holes 8, and the moderating protruding part 2 is inserted to the moderating hole 8 to moderate the switch knob 3.
