The electric reclining bed 11 comprises: a mattress 21 which can be reclined by an electric reclining mechanism; a support frame 31 for supporting the mattress 21; and a head board 41 provided at one end in the length direction of the support frame 31, wherein the head board is formed to be hollow, a first light transmitting plate 46 is attached to the upper surface and a second light transmitting plate 47 is attached to the side face. Then, a head board light for emitting light through the respective light transmitting plates 46 and 47 is housed inside the head board 41, and a floor light for illuminating a floor surface is provided on the lower surface of the support frame 31.
