To provide an electric refrigerator capable of preventing the waste outflow of cold air in a door pocket part and a refrigerating chamber and the unnecessary inflow of the outside air which is caused by opening and closing of the door of the refrigerator.

A transparent partitioning box plate 7 with a cold air intake port 15 provided in a form of surrounding the door pocket part 8 is provided on the reverse side of the door 3, and a transparent door 11 is provided on the partitioning box plate 7. Shutter housing parts are provided on the lateral wall surfaces of the refrigerating chamber 2, and a rail 5a and a rail 5b are provided on the ceiling part and floor part of the refrigerating chamber 2, respectively. Further, transparent double swing shutters 6 with handles 12 are fitted between the rails 5a and 5b, and stoppers 9 are provided in the middle parts of the rails 5a and 5b. A cold air outlet port 10 is provided in a position corresponding to just above the cold air intake port 15 in the ceiling part of the refrigerating chamber 2, and a cold air blowing pipe 18 extended from a cooling device 17 is connected to the cold air outlet port 10.
