PURPOSE: To obtain a resistance wire wherein desirable electric resistance value and diameter are realized at a comparatively low cost, and the strength is sufficient, by twisting an amorphous wire whose electric resistivity is large together with other wires and compounding them.
CONSTITUTION: One amorphous wire wherein the electric resistivity is 140μΩcm and the diameter is 125μm and six stainless steel wires wherein the electric resistivity is 98μΩcm and the diameter is 120μm are used, and a twisted wire is formed by using a tubular type wire twisting equipment. The electric resistance value of the obtained twisted wire is 14.5Ω/cm, and the diameter is 386μm. The tensile strength measured by using a tension tester is 250kg/mm2, and extremely large. Thereby a resistance wire wherein the diameter and the strength are large and usability is excellent can be obtained.
