PURPOSE: To obtain an electric rotating machine in which the winding can be secured firmly into the slot and can be taken out easily at the time of disassembling.

CONSTITUTION: A polyester tape 4 is wound, as a mold releasing film, around an armature winding 1 insulated from the earth. The armature winding 1 is secured firmly into a slot 6 through the cures layer 9 of epoxy resin impregnating the outside of the polyester tape 4. When the armature winding 1 is drawn out from the slot 6 for the purpose of repair, the polyester tape 4 is cut in the center on the wedge 7 side by means of a cutter, thus taking out the armature winding 1 easily while leaving the polyester tape 4 in the slot 6.
