This electric screen 100 comprises the plurality of electrode bars 40 which are suspended to a waterway 2 so that at least a lower end thereof can be soaked in water in the waterway 2 and which can apply a voltage, and a weight 50 which is attached to the lower end of each of the electrode bars 40. In each of the electrode bars 40, at least a portion soaked in the water in the waterway 2 is formed in such a shape as to have a streamline horizontal section. The weight 50 is formed in such a shape as to have an inverted wing-shaped vertical cross section. The inverted wing shape of the vertical cross section is such a sectional shape as to generate a force in the bottom-surface direction of the waterway 2 by making the weight 50 receive a water current of the waterway 2.
