Abstract:
To provide an electric resistance welding device which can inhibit occurrence of welding defects in a welding part even if a coolant is spilled onto a surface of a squeeze roll to cool the squeeze roll.SOLUTION: An electric resistance welding device of an embodiment includes: a heating device 51; multiple squeeze rolls 52; a roll cooling device 53; and a first gas jetting device 54. The heating device 51 heats a pair of edge parts of an element tube 11 which is transported from an upstream side to a downstream side of a manufacturing facility line 1. The multiple squeeze rolls 52 are disposed at the downstream side of the heating device 51 and crimp the pair of edge parts to each other while contacting with an outer surface of the element pipe 11. The roll cooling device 53 jets a coolant so that the coolant spills onto surfaces of the squeeze rolls 52. The first gas jetting device 54 jets a gas to a surface portion, located at the upstream side of a rotation axis C1 of the squeeze roll 52, of a surface of each squeeze roll 52.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10
